"When did you know?" I asked out of curiosity.
He laughed lightly. "Well, I've suspected it for a long time, but earlier tonight, when you stared me down from the face-off circle, all I wanted to do was throw my mask off, charge over there and kiss you silly."
I laughed and kissed his t-shirt-clad chest. "You're only about a dozen years behind me, but I'll take it."
"Well, it was appropriate tonight."
"Why?"
"Because ... it was a dark and stormy night."
I bit his nipple. Hard.
